What an amazing start to the year! We have simply been having a blast with all of this season’s classes. The commitment and hard work of every single student is already starting to pay off in October. Keep up the hard work dancers! We are all so very proud of you!
As we enter our second month of classes we will be keeping a stricter eye on our dress code. Please ensure that students are appropriately dressed for their classes with hair tied neatly off the face for all classes. Also, please label all of your dancer’s belongings so that we can minimize the mix-ups! If you have any questions about the dress code please just ask. Thank you to all of the dancers who have been following our dress code so far!
All students of Footprints Dance Centre are invited to attend the Dance Attack Workshop hosted in London on Sunday November 12. If you are interested in registering for this phenomenal event please print and sign a waiver form from their website. Bring the waiver form and cheque payable to Dance Attack Workshop to the studio and we will take care of the rest!
Our Holiday Spirit Squad is off to a great start already! Thank you to all of the dancers participating in this great event! Dancers will be performing at our Studio Festivus Party as well as throughout Woodstock during the Holiday Season.
As the holiday season approaches I am excited to announce a great opportunity with Rachael Little Photography. Lastly we are excited to announce the first of many PARENTS NIGHT OUT Events at the studio. Our first event will kick off on Friday October 27 from 5:00-8:30pm at the studio. Simply drop the kids off for a frightful night of fun for only $10/student (up to $20/family) and enjoy a night out with your partner or your friends! We will be hosting our Halloween Bash in support of the Epilepsy Support Centre. The proceeds from this event will be donated to the Epilepsy Support Centre.

October 9: Studio Closed
The studio will be closed on Thanksgiving Monday.
October 15: Dress Code Enforcement
Please ensure that your dancer has their appropriate dance attire for each class. We will begin to enforce our dress code with our three level warning system: 1) Verbal Warning, 2) Written Notice 3) Dancer will be unable to participate in class.
October 16-21: Observation Week!
This is the opportunity all you parents have been waiting for! Come and sit in on your dancer’s class. Take pictures, invite the whole family!
October 23-28: Halloween at FDC!
Wear a disguise to trick your teachers and we’ll treat you to an awesome day filled with spooky excitement. Note to parents: please ensure that costumes don’t restrict your child’s mobility.
October 27: Halloween Bash – Parents’ Night Out
Ages 5-10. See attached for more info!
October 31: Costume Fees Due!
Please be sure to pay your costume fee dues before October 31 to ensure that your dancers’ costume is ordered on time.
Oct 31: Studio Closed!
The studio will be closed for Halloween.
