It’s hard to believe that November is already upon us! Thank you for your continuous support this season. The studio is truly nothing without the hard work and dedication of each and every student, family member and staff member.

As the winter season approaches and of course, cold and flu season with it – please be sure to notify the studio of any absences your dancer may have. Feel free to call the studio and leave a voice mail or send us a quick e-mail.

Halloween Bash

A HUGE THANK YOU to all of the dancers who contributed to our Halloween Bash in support of the Epilepsy Support Centre. I am always blown away by the amount our studio wants to give back to their community! The Halloween Bash raised $650.00 for the ESC. Way to go dancers!

Monthly Intention – Motivation

Each month of our dancing year will highlight one of those ‘life lessons’ that dance gives us. This month we are working on incorporating motivation into our dance studio. With some of our dancers set to perform their jazz and tap exams at the end of the month, we thought it was the perfect time to highlight motivation as our monthly intention!

Our Intermediate and Senior dancers are also invited into the studio for an afternoon of motivation and inspiration on Saturday November 9 from 3:00-5:30pm. We will be watching Travis Wall’s Documentary as well as creating our own dream journals!

Festivus Party

We are excited to announce the date of our 8th Annual Festivus Party on Saturday November 23 at 6:00pm! We will be holding our Festivus Party at the Oxford Auditorium. Our Festivus Party is a fun night out for parents and students of FDC with a provided pizza dinner, games and activities planned for the kids. Not to mention, our Holiday Spirit Squad performs AND a Santa makes an appearance too! Save the date now so you can make it!

The event is free but we please ask that you pick up tickets from the desk so we can have an estimate on numbers.

The Holiday Season at FDC

We are keeping our holiday traditions alive this coming December. Be sure to mark your calendars for our Nutcracker Night Out for our Teacup, Tulip and Mini Dancers on Saturday December 14.

We will also be collecting donations for our Fill the Sleigh campaign for Domestic Abuse Services Oxford once again. Dancers are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items and new toiletries to help us fill the sleigh. All of these items will be put directly back into the community that helps to support and shape us all. More information about this campaign will be released with your December newsletter.
