Welcome the month of love! February is here and with it we are reminded of how grateful we are for our Footprints Family. This little dance studio provides so much love and support for everyone of its members. I am truly grateful to be a part of this loving family! Now on to the news for February!
We are excited to announce the date of our sixth official recital!
Drum roll please…
Footprints Dance Centre’s Sixth Annual Recital will take place at The Market Centre Theatre on Saturday June 9 AND Sunday June 10, 2018. Dress rehearsal will take place on Thursday June 7 and Friday June 8. Further scheduling and time confirmation as well as ticket on sale dates and prices will be released soon.
Congratulations to Zoey P for winning our “I Dance Because” Photo Contest! Zoey will be receiving two free tickets to join the studio on our outing to see the National Ballet of Canada’s performance of Sleeping Beauty in Toronto on March 15!
We are also pleased to announce that we will be going ahead with our Spring/Summer version of our Holiday Spirit Squad called the Summer Sass Squad! Dancers participating in our Summer Sass Squad will have the opportunity to perform at local summer events like Summer Streetfest, as well as making charitable performances at various retirement homes and fundraising events through the summer. Miss Lainy will be hosting an info night on Feb 24 at 6:00pm at the studio for all of those who are interested in sharing their talent with the community through the summer months.
As we weather through the winter months please be sure to inform the studio if your dancer will be absent due to illness.

Learn how we can improve your health, movement and life. There will be a general info session from 5:00-6:00pm. You can also sign up for a free posture and functional movement screening at the desk.
Feb 10: Footprints Paint Nite
Join us for a fun night of painting. The event will be at Old St Pauls Church at 7pm. Tickets ($50) are available at the desk.
Feb 12-17: Casual Dress Day: Valentine’s Edition!
Break out everything red, white and pink to fall in even more in love with dance.
Feb 19: Family Day
The studio will be open!
Feb 24: Summer Sass Squad Info Night!
