Welcome to Footprints Dance Centre!
We are so excited to be in our seventh season and have each of you as a part of our new dance community. We hope that throughout the year you can discover Footprints Dance Centre to be a warm and safe place to inspire creativity, positive work ethic and self-expression. Each individual, whether student, family member or friend, is an important foundational member that will help to influence the structure of the studio for many years to come.
Fall launches our Holiday Spirit Squad Team. This Spirit Squad is open to all of our recreational and competitive students. Students will learn holiday themed routines to be performed throughout Oxford County and area. Venues often include the Woodstock Art Gallery, various retirement homes and other holiday themed events. This team also performs at our Annual Festivus Party! A Personal Note from the Artistic Director,
I couldn’t be more excited to begin the year with each of these dancers. I look forward to watching each child grow through dance as the year progresses from their first plié to their final bow at recital. I can’t wait to share moments and smiles that I’m sure will leave lasting impressions.
I am so excited to announce that this year we will be launching our Monthly Intention campaign. Each month of our dancing year will highlight one of those ‘life lessons’ that dance gives us. This month we are working on the intention of *Togetherness.* Dancers will be participating in *Togetherness* activities during class and we will have a few extras planned throughout the month as well to celebrate our Footprints Family’s Togetherness!

COMING EVENTS:
Sept 24-28: Casual Dress Dance Week- Studio Spirit! – Take this opportunity to let your style shine through! Students are encouraged to dress in their wackiest BLUE & PURPLE! Note to parents: make sure that clothing will not inhibit class activities.
Sept 27: Spirit Squad Rehearsals Start! – Let’s get started on those specialty holiday themed routines to be performed throughout Woodstock!
Oct 1: Monthly Fees Due
October 5: Clothing Orders Due! – The perfect come to dance clothes and the perfect Christmas present.
October 8: Thanksgiving – The studio will be closed Monday for Thanksgiving.
Oct 31: Halloween & Costume Payment Due – The studio will be closed for Halloween.
