The dance studio was a rocking and a rolling thanks to our incredible popstar campers last week! We were so happy to see our dancers back in the studio for summer camp after months off due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. It was clear to us that the kids were excited to be back too!
Our Pastel Popstars and Rainbow Rockers had a blast creating their very own costumes and set designs for their music video and end of week performance. With tye-dye t-shirts, amazing headbands and accessories our campers certainly looked the part!
Throughout the week our campers learned two dance routines to perform as part of their music video recording and their end-of-week outdoor show! The first routine was a hip-hop dance to Jojo Siwa’s Hold the Drama. The second routine was a jazz dance to Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off. The campers worked so hard to learn the choreography and make it stage ready all within the same week!
Our summer campers also had lots of opportunity to have some free outdoor play time with one another too. After such a crazy year of isolation, we thought it important to give the kids some time to be kids too!
