The dance studio was hopping thanks to our sparkle berry fairies last week! We were so happy to see our dancers back in the studio for summer camp after months off due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. It was clear to us that the kids were excited to be back too!
Our adorable dancers had a blast creating their very own costumes for their end of week performance. Throughout the week our sparkle berry fairies crafted their very own pair of fairy wings, flower crown and fairy wand for their performance along with lots of other awesome crafts!
Throughout the week our campers learned three dance routines to perform as part of their end-of-week outdoor show! The first routine was a ballet dance to Over the Rainbow by the incredible Judy Garland, then a berry explosion themed tap dance to the theme from Strawberry Shortcake and finally we blasted off to outer space with a hip-hop number to Space Unicorn by Parry Gripp. The campers worked so hard to learn the choreography and make it stage ready all within the same week!
Our summer campers also had lots of opportunity to have some free outdoor play time with one another too. After such a crazy year of isolation, we thought it important to give the kids some time to be kids too!
