What an amazing start to the year! We have simply been having a blast with all of this season’s classes. The commitment and hard work of every single student is already starting to pay off.
With Thanksgiving right around the corner we wanted to take the time to say thank you to our incredible FDC Community! We are so grateful to our entire Footprints Family for supporting the studio this dance season.

Halloween Bash
Our ninth annual Halloween Bash in support of the Epilepsy Support Centre is right around the corner! Dancers (ages 7-10) are invited to the studio for a night of spooky and silly fun on Saturday November 1 from 3:00-5:00pm.
Partiers can come dressed in their Halloween costume! Partiers will have some fun with Halloween themed games and get to watch Hocus Pocus with their dance friends. Please pack a nut-free snack for your dancer for a little break time. Admission is $10/child. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Epilepsy Support Centre. Please RSVP via email or at the desk.
Recital Costume Opt-Out Option & Recital Scheduling Requests – Due Oct 25
We kindly ask that you let us know if you do NOT want to purchase a recital costume for this year by October 25, 2025. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you want a costume for recital. (Dancers can still participate in recital without a costume, they will wear their dress code uniform.)
We also kindly ask that any scheduling requests for the week of Rehearsals and Recitals (June 1-6) be submitted by October 25 as well.

Costume Fees are due Oct 31, 2025. Late fees will be applied Nov 15, 2025.
Dress Code
Please ensure that students are appropriately dressed for their classes with hair tied neatly off the face for all classes.
Please label all of your dancer’s belongings so that we can minimize the mix-ups! If you have any questions about the dress code please just ask. Thank you to all of the dancers who have been following our dress code so far!
How To Report Absences
You can always let us know about an absence via email but you can also report absences through the parent portal. This is beneficial as it will appear in all of their teacher’s attendance tracker for that day.
How To:
Login to your parent portal – https://dancestudio-pro.com/online/footprints
Click the Attendance button – Click Report Absence – Select the Students that will be Absent – Click Next -Select the dates the students will be away – Type in your reason for absence – Click Submit Absences
Recital 2026:
This season our 14th Annual Recital will be held at The Movement Church in Woodstock. Rehearsals and Recitals will take place the week of June 1-6.
