It’s hard to believe that November is already upon us! Thank you for your continuous support this season. The studio is truly nothing without the hard work and dedication of each and every student, family member and staff member.
As the winter season approaches and of course, cold and flu season with it – please be sure to log your absences in your parent portal. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for continuing to make our dance studio a healthy and safe place for our dancers.
A HUGE THANK YOU to all of the dancers who contributed to our Halloween Bash in support of the Epilepsy Support Centre. I am always blown away by the amount our studio wants to give back to their community!
Nutty Nutcracker Showcase
Our Holiday Spirit Squad is bursting with excitement to finally get on stage. Our Nutty Nutcracker performance will take place on Saturday November 22 at 2:00pm.
Tickets will go on sale the week of November 3. This is a great opportunity for all of our dancers and families to see how recital will happen in the spring!
The Holiday Season at FDC
We will be continuing our donation collection for our Fill the Sleigh campaign for Domestic Abuse Services Oxford from Dec 1 – 20. Dancers are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items and new toiletries to help us fill the sleigh. All of these items will be put directly back into the community that helps to support and shape us all. More information about this campaign will be released with your December newsletter.
Dress Code
Please ensure that students are appropriately dressed for their classes with hair tied neatly off the face for all classes.
Please label all of your dancer’s belongings so that we can minimize the mix-ups! If you have any questions about the dress code please just ask. Thank you to all of the dancers who have been following our dress code so far!
How To Report Absences
You can always let us know about an absence via email but you can also report absences through the parent portal. This is beneficial as it will appear in all of their teacher’s attendance tracker for that day.
How To:
Login to your parent portal – https://dancestudio-pro.com/online/footprints
Click the Attendance button – Click Report Absence – Select the Students that will be Absent – Click Next -Select the dates the students will be away – Type in your reason for absence – Click Submit Absences
Recital 2026:
This season our 14th Annual Recital will be held at The Movement Church in Woodstock. Rehearsals and Recitals will take place the week of June 1-6.
Recital Costume Fees Due: October 31, 2025.
