We are so excited to be in our 14th season and have each of you as a part of our new dance community. This year will certainly be an exciting one, but I am confident that you can count on FDC to be a safe and inspiring place for your dancer this season.
This season we are so excited to open our newly renovated space for our dancers and families to enjoy! Our summer renovation tackled adding new washroom spaces, a kitchenette area, fully refurbished dancewear fitting area and a new dance space too! We are so proud to share our new space with our dance family!
We hope that throughout the year you can discover Footprints Dance Centre to be a warm and safe place to inspire creativity, positive work ethic and self-expression. Each individual, whether student, family member or friend, is an important foundational member that will help to influence the structure of the studio for many years to come.
Dress Code:
Please ensure that students are appropriately dressed for their classes with hair tied neatly off the face for all classes. We understand that items may be on order and will not penalize any student for improper dress code this month.
Please label all of your dancer’s belongings so that we can minimize the mix-ups! If you have any questions about the dress code please just ask. Thank you to all of the dancers who have been following our dress code so far!
Spirit Wear Orders:
We are so excited to launch our Fall Spirit-Wear Clothing Order! All clothing orders can be made online this year. Head to https://schooltee.com/ and use the passcode FOOT.WOO to get started.
Spirit-Wear Clothing Orders are due on Friday September 26.
Nutcracker Registration:
Registration for our Nutty Nutcracker Spectacular is open for dancers ages 5+. This is an optional, additional performance opportunity for dancers seeking a little more stage time. This year we will be portraying each dance as a scene of the classic production of “The Nutcracker” in a live theatre performance on Sat Nov 22 at the Movement Church in Woodstock. Registration is due Sept 13.
Recital 2026:
This season our 14th Annual Recital will be held at The Movement Church in Woodstock. Rehearsals and Recitals will take place the week of June 1-6.
Recital Costume Fees Due: October 31, 2025.
