It’s officially Love Month! As February begins we will be starting work on our recital dances. This is truly one of the most exciting times for our little dancers. Whether this will be your first recital or your fifth recital with us we hope to knock your socks off!
We are excited to announce the date of our fifth official recital!
Drum roll please… Footprints Dance Centre’s Fifth Annual Recital will take place at The Market Centre Theatre on Saturday June 10 AND Sunday June 11, 2017. Students will participate in both shows and awards will be handed out following the Sunday show. Further scheduling and time confirmation as well as ticket on sale dates and prices will be released soon.
Congratulations to Bailey Hurst for winning our “I Dance Because” Photo Contest! Abbey will be receiving two free tickets to join the studio on our Shaping Sound performance in Kitchener on March 3!
We are also pleased to announce that we will be going ahead with our Spring/Summer version of our Holiday Spirit Squad called the Summer Sass Squad! Dancers participating in our Summer Sass Squad will have the opportunity to perform at local summer events like Canada Day, Cowapalooza, Summer Streetfest, as well as making charitable performances at various retirement homes and fundraising events through the summer. Miss Lainy will be hosting an info night on Feb 26 at 2:00pm at the studio for all of those who are interested in sharing their talent with the community through the summer months.
As we weather through the winter months please be sure to inform the studio if your dancer will be absent due to illness. Also, keep your eye on the studio’s Instagram and Facebook accounts for announcements regarding inclement weather closings.

Feb 13-18: Casual Dress Day: Valentine’s Edition!
Break out everything red, white and pink to fall in even more in love with dance. Students are encouraged to bring Valentines for their classmates.
Feb 15: Fees Due
Please make sure your accounts are up to date.
Feb 20: Family Day
The studio will be closed. Enjoy the day with your family!
Feb 26: Summer Sass Squad Info Night!

Puffin Media will be hosting a day of interviews at the studio for our new video campaigns. Talk with Miss Lainy if you are interested in being interviewed!
