We are so excited to be launching our very first 3 year old tap program this fall. Our dancing bunny, Teacup, is so excited to be able to take our new three and four year olds on an exciting adventure through the wonderful world of tap and jazz dance in our new program, Teeterin’ & Tappin’ Teacups!
Teeterin’ & Tappin’ Teacups offers our three and four year old dancers the opportunity to start to explore the ins and outs of both tap and jazz dance. These little dancers will learn the basics of jazz such as marches, skips, kicks and turns, as well as the basics of tap dance. From shuffles to toe taps and flaps, your 3 year old will surprise you by the end of the year. Our 3 year old tap program is sure to please!
Teacup will take our 3 year old tap dancers on adventures through the forest, to the zoo and all the way to outer space. Our creative-play-based approach allows students enough structure to learn new movements as well as the creative freedom to explore and test the limits of their own bodies.
Teacup and Miss Lainy always have so much fun planning our 3 year old classes!
At Footprints Dance Centre we are proud to utilize the ADAPT method for all of our Tap and Jazz classes. The ADAPT Pre-Junior program is specially designed to allow our little Teacups dancers enough structure and play time to make the most of their dance class experience. Miss Lainy is an ADAPT Teacher Training School graduate and continues to update her credentials with ADAPT through their continuing education courses. It is incredibly important to us at Footprints Dance Centre that all of our teachers are well trained to ensure that your child is receiving a safe and practical dance education.
