It’s that time of year again at Footprints for our Performance Team! Our Holiday Spirit Squad has finished their routines, costumes have arrived and the smell of hairspray is fresh in the air. It’s time for this year’s Holiday Spirit Squad to hit the road and perform throughout Woodstock and Oxford County.
Our Holiday Spirit Squad showcases dancers over the age of 5 looking to build their performing experience. By participating in our Holiday Spirit Squad our dances are able to give back to their community and build strong friendships with their other dancers. So without further ado, here is our 2018 Holiday Spirit Squad!
Our Tulips:
Those holiday smiles will be bursting on stage!
This age group is new to our Spirit Squad but these little dancers did not fear away from the challenge. Our littlest dancers (Ages 5-6) are dancing to “Charlie Brown’s Christmas Time is Here.” They are excited to wear their sparkley costumes and show everyone their brilliant ballerina moves!
Our Juniors:
Our Junior Dancers had a blast during their “peek a boo” photo shoot with Rachael Little Photography!
Our Juniors are full-to-bursting with energy for their jazz and ballet numbers. These dancers ranging in ages from 7-10 will be bouncing around to a “Love Shack” remix called “Toy Sack.” Their ballet routine will take a techno feel as the “LED Ballerinas.” This high-energy group is super excited to dance with their friends and enjoy the holiday season.
Our Intermediates and Seniors:
Our Intermediate and Senior dancers have been working hard on their dance solos and duet!
These ladies are seasoned performers and are excited to bring their smiles to the stage. The Inter/Senior group will be showcasing a lovely throwback to Bette Midler with her “Cool Yule” holiday tune. Then each dancer will have a turn to showcase their skills solo.
Our Intermediate dancer will be dancing to SIA’s holiday song, “Everyday is Christmas” with a gorgeous lyrical solo. Then our Senior dancer will be showing off her acro skills to the song “Here Comes Santa Clause!”
