It’s always a special February at Footprints because we get to start working on recital dances but this February is EXTRA special as we get a whole bonus day! We can’t wait to get started on our recital dances this month. And we will start dropping our recital theme cues throughout the month too!
February Seasonal Updates
As the winter weather continues to roll through Woodstock please be sure to fully utilize the shoe racks provided. Keeping the stairway clear is important to our dancers’ and families’ safety.
Please continue to keep the studio informed with any absences your child may have as we continue to battle cold/flu season together.
Monthly Intention: Kindness
Each month of our dancing year will highlight one of those ‘life lessons’ that dance gives us. This month’s intention is Kindness. We are super excited to be putting on our second annual Share the Love Social Media Contest as well as putting on our first Parent Appreciation Week at the studio too! Throughout the month of February we will be putting together some extra events and ideas for our dance family to express Kindness.
Teacup & Tulip Birthday Party
Dancers in our Teacup and Tulip programs are invited to celebrate Teacup and Tulip’s Birthdays on Saturday February 15. There are two time slot options for the party: 3:30-5:00 or 5:30-7:00pm. This event is put on to support Oxford County Animal Rescue. Please RSVP to the desk to let us know what time slot works best for you!
Competitive Showcase
Interested in seeing what our Competitive Team has been up to this season? Come see them perform at the Market Centre Theatre at 2:30pm on Febuary 23. Tickets are available at the desk as of February 3!
Recital 2020 Update
COSTUMES: Students have been measured and costumes have been ordered! Please ensure that all costume fees and accounts are up to date. Check out our Costume Look Book for a sneak peek at your child’s costume for recital! Students will be trying on costumes as they arrive throughout the next few months. Check your weekly e-blasts to be notified of what classes are trying on costumes that week.
RECITAL DATE: This year our 8th Annual Recital will be held on Friday June 12 and Saturday June 13 at the Calvary Church in Woodstock. Our Mini. Junior, Inter and Senior dancers will dance on Friday June 12 and our Teacup and Tulip dancers will have their shows on Saturday June 13.
