April is an exciting time at the studio! Our recital students are finishing up their recital choreography, our exam dancers are putting the finishing touches on their syllabus work and our competitive dancers are hitting the stage. As we move through this busy time at the studio we are so thankful to be sharing the experience with our incredible Footprints Family.
As we get closer to showtime, it is so important for our dancers to be in class. Please continue to alert us through your parent portal of any absences.
We can’t wait to get these dancers on the stage soon!
Monthly Intention – Bloom
Each month of our dancing year will highlight one of those ‘life lessons’ that dance gives us through our monthly intentions. Our monthly intention for April is BLOOM! As we approach recital season, we plan to give our dancers extra motivation and determination to reach their dance goals this season. The hard work has to happen in the studio now, for our dancers to shine on stage in June!
Summer Camp Registration
Camp registration is now available in your parent portal. Click Register for Class then open up the Summer Camp tab. Your registration payment is just a 15% deposit! The remainder of your fee will be due one week prior to camp start.
Competition Info Meeting – Sat April 22
If your dancer is interested in exploring the thrilling world of Competitive Dance we invite you to attend a short information meeting on Saturday April 22 at 3:45 at the studio. In this meeting we will discuss the financial and time requirements for the Competitive Team.
Portrait Recital Photo Day – May 12 & 13
We are super excited to be working with Fred’s Photography again to bring your Recital Portraits to life! Dancers will wear their recital costumes with their hair all done up pretty! The schedule and ordering information was included in your Recital Info Packages.
Recital 2023
COSTUMES: Check out our Costume Look Book in the lobby for a sneak peek at your child’s costume for recital! Students will take their costumes home during the week of May 1-6.
MUSIC: You can now access your child’s recital music through your parent portal. Login to your parent portal – Click “Shared Files” – Click on the “Class Music” Tab. Voila! There it is!
RECITAL & REHEARSAL DATES: This year our 11th Annual Recitals and Rehearsals will take place throughout the week of June 6-10 at the Movement Church in Woodstock. We are planning to have 3 different shows. All information is available in your Recital Info Package.
