Wow! We can’t believe Recital is over! What a whirlwind of a year! It felt SO GOOD to finally be back on that stage, watching our dancers shine and do what they love!
There is just something so magical about Recital week. The excitement and energy are just completely unmatched. Recital is a culmination of all the fun that was had during an awesome year of dance. It’s an opportunity to feel the butterflies and excitement of being in the spotlight! It’s the complete and utter joy of being in a room full of people who are there to cheer you on while you do what you love most- dance your heart out!
Without being able to actually host a real-live recital for the past two years, there was definitely a void in our hearts. But that’s what made this recital feel that much more special! It was just SO GOOD to be back! Congratulations to each and every one of our dancers on an incredible show! We are so proud of all of your hard work.
This season was an extra special one because not only were we back in the studio and back on stage… but it was also Footprints Dance Centre’s 10 year anniversary! Can you believe that Footprints has been moving and shaking for an entire decade?! WOW!
And the extra amazing part is how many dancers have been through it all with us! This year, 4 of our incredible dancers celebrated 10 years with the studio too! They have literally been with us since the beginning, and it has been such a joy and honor to watch them grow! Plus we had another 26 dancers celebrating 5 years with the Footprints Fam! We want to give an extra special shout out to these amazing students! Thank you so much for your continued support and love! (We hope you like your shiny anniversary trophies!)
