We are so excited to be in our 12th season and have each of you as a part of our new dance community. This year will certainly be an interesting one, but I am confident that you can count on FDC to be a safe and inspiring place for your dancer this season.
This season we welcome new staff to our teaching team as well as many more class options for our dancers. We are so excited for this dance season to get going!
We hope that throughout the year you can discover Footprints Dance Centre to be a warm and safe place to inspire creativity, positive work ethic and self-expression.
Each individual, whether student, family member or friend, is an important foundational member that will help to influence the structure of the studio for many years to come.
Monthly Intention – Sweet As Can Be!
Each month of our dancing year will highlight one of those ‘life lessons’ that dance gives us through our monthly intentions. As we kick off the new season with our Candy Jam Jambouree Party, we are interested in all things sweet! Our staff will be on the look out for extra kind kiddos this month.
Nutcracker Registration
Registration for our Holiday Spirit Squad is open for dancers ages 5+. Spirit Squad is an optional, additional performance opportunity for dancers seeking a little more stage time. This year we will be portraying each dance as a scene of the classic production of “The Nutcracker” in a live theatre performance on Sat Nov 25 at the Movement Church in Woodstock. Registration is due Sept 24.
Dress Code
Please ensure that students are appropriately dressed for their classes with hair tied neatly off the face for all classes. We understand that items may be on order and will not penalize any student for improper dress code this month.
Please label all of your dancer’s belongings so that we can minimize the mix-ups! If you have any questions about the dress code please just ask. Thank you to all of the dancers who have been following our dress code so far!
Spirit Wear Orders

Spirit-Wear Clothing Orders are due on Friday September 29.
Recital 2024
This season our 12th Annual Recital will be held at The Movement Church in Woodstock. Rehearsals and Recitals will take place the week of June 3-8.
