Twinkling Tots (Ages 2-3)

Twinkling Tots is a specifically designed dance program for 2-3 year-old tots to transition to experiencing a classroom setting all on their own! The session begins with both tot and caregiver in class and participating together. As tots build their confidence in class they will begin to participate more independently while the caregiver watches from the sidelines.

At Footprints Dance Centre our goal is to build the tot’s confidence as they transition from dancing with their grown-up to dancing on their own. Tots love to figure things out and are constantly testing their boundaries in physical movement. This class will foster their love of problem-solving and risk-taking.

Each session will have a guiding movement and music concept integrated through dance and music activities like guided exploratory play, sensory play, simple choreography, and songs and rhymes.

Tots in this class will also have the opportunity to socialize with children their own age. Tots will learn how to share space in the class, learn responsibility by making choices and decisions on their own, and of course, make new friends too!

Through the magic of imagination, Tots will develop their own creative minds as we explore movement, imagination and creativity.

Wednesday Mornings from 10:15-10:45am

Saturday Mornings from 10:30-11:00am

Saturday Mornings from 11:00-11:30am

Cost (2024/25 Season):

$160.00 (HST incl) for each 10-week session.

We recommend at least one session of our Twinkling Tykes program before beginning the Twinkling Tots class.
