Exam Program (Ages 6-18)
Exams are the perfect way to provide your dancer with clear and measurable goals in their dance training. Our exam program is geared towards students wishing to make a further commitment to their dance training based in technical foundations. We are proud to offer examinations in Tap and Jazz through the ADAPT syllabus and Ballet exams through International Dance Acclaim syllabus.
Children who sit examinations in dance gain a greater sense of confidence and determination not only in their dance training but in their personal lives. Exam dancers will gain the ability to speak confidently to strangers (just like a job or university interview), set goals (and reach them!) and be able to provide tangible documentation for their hard work and dedication to dance training (which always looks good on a resume!)

With their combined knowledge they created the IDA syllabus to meet the needs of the global dance world. With that intention IDA has created a ballet syllabus suitable to both pre-professional and recreational dancers with an emphasis on strong technique, artistry and musicality.
