March is always an exciting month at the dance studio. Recital routine choreography begins, our Competition Team heads off to their first event and our Exam Programs start to ramp up as the countdown begins to exam day! There is certainly lots to keep us busy this month!
As we approach the busiest time of the year at the studio, we wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for being on this dance journey together. We are so excited to get our dancers prepped for our Spring Recital!
Monthly Intention: Sweet & Sassy
Each month of our dancing year will highlight one of those ‘life lessons’ that dance gives us through our monthly intentions. Our monthly intention for March is SWEET & SASSY! Throughout the month of March you will see our teachers encouraging our dancers to develop their performance quality while working on their recital dances.
Summer Camp Registration
Cold winds blow but we are dreaming about summer sun… Camp registration is now available in your parent portal. Click Register for Class then open up the Summer Camp tab. Your registration payment is just a 10% deposit! The remainder of your fee will be due July 1, 2024.
Absences
You can always let us know about an absence via email but you can also report absences through the parent portal. This is beneficial as it will appear in all of their teacher’s attendance tracker for that day.
How To: Login to your parent portal – https://dancestudio-pro.com/online/footprints
Click the Attendance button – Click Report Absence – Select the Students that will be Absent – Click Next -Select the dates the students will be away – Type in your reason for absence – Click Submit Absences
Recital 2024
COSTUMES: Our Costume Look Book is now available to see all the wonderful costumes that will be a part of this year’s show! Students will be trying on costumes as they arrive throughout the next few months. Your weekly email update will let you know what classes will be trying on costumes.
RECITAL & REHEARSAL DATES: This year our 12th Annual Recitals and Rehearsals will take place throughout the week of June 3-8 at the Movement Church in Woodstock. We are planning to have FIVE indvidiual shows and will release more information next month!
MUSIC: You can now access your child’s recital music through your parent portal. Login to your parent portal – Click “Shared Files” – Click on the “Class Music” Tab. Voila! There it is!
