March is always an exciting month at the dance studio! Recital routine choreography begins to start wrapping up with classes joining the “Done Club.” Our Competition Team heads off to their first performance and our Exam Programs start to ramp up as the countdown begins to exam day! There is certainly lots to keep us busy this month!
We are also excited to announce the theme of our tenth official recital this month. We will be giving out clues and hints on our social media and inside the studio throughout the month of March. We can’t wait to see if anyone figures it out this year!
Now let’s all cross our fingers and hope that March truly does go out like a lamb this year!
Monthly Intention – Cheeky & Cheerful
Each month of our dancing year will highlight one of those ‘life lessons’ that dance gives us. This month’s intention is Cheeky & Cheerful. As we approach the second anniversary of the pandemic, we wanted to take the extra initiative to create some fun for our dancers this month. Times have been tough, but we are beginning to see the light on the other side
Summer Camp Registration is Open
Cold winds blow but we are dreaming about summer sun… Camp registration is now available in your parent portal. Click Register for Class then open up the Summer Camp tab. Your registration payment is just a 15% deposit! The remainder of your fee will be due one week prior to camp start.
Mini/Junior Emjoi Fun Day
Dancers in our Mini (ages 7-8) and Junior (ages 9-10) are invited to the studio on Saturday March 26 from 3:30-5:30 for a fun afternoon with a dance class, craft and game time. Admission is $10.00/student. Register via email or at the desk.
Promo Photo Day
We are super excited to be working with Rachael Little Photography again to create some beautiful new images for our summer marketing campaign. We are looking for our dancers to model for us! More information and sign-up info will be released after March Break.
Recital 2022 Update
COSTUMES: Check out our Virtual Costume Look Book (in your email) for a sneak peek at your child’s costume for recital! Students will be trying on costumes as they arrive throughout the next few months. Check your weekly e-blasts to be notified of what classes are trying on costumes that week.
RECITAL DATE: This year our 10th Annual Recital will be held throughout the week of June 6-11 at the Movement Church in Woodstock. As we get closer to our recital date we will be able to provide a clearer picture of what health and safety procedures will be required for our show. Please be patient with us as we navigate the ongoing pandemic together.
