The dance studio was hopping thanks to our super cute safari adventurers last week! We were so happy to see our dancers back in the studio for summer camp after months off due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. It was clear to us that the kids were excited to be back too!

Our wild dancers had a blast creating their very own costumes for their end of week performance. Throughout the week our safari adventurers crafted their very own binoculars and safari hat for their performance along with lots of other awesome crafts!

Throughout the week our campers learned three dance routines to perform as part of their end-of-week outdoor show! The first routine was a hip-hop dance to Imagination Movers’ remix of I Wan’na be Like You from the Jungle Book, then a lion themed tap dance to Brian Wilson’s I Just Can’t Wait to Be King and finally a ballet dance to the theme of George of the Jungle. The campers worked so hard to learn the choreography and make it stage ready all within the same week!

Our summer campers also had lots of opportunity to have some free outdoor play time with one another too. After such a crazy year of isolation, we thought it important to give the kids some time to be kids too!

We had such a blast with our wild adventurers! You can watch a highlights slideshow of the week on our YouTube page.
