What an absolute smash 2024 has been! We are having so much fun in class and our dancers are learning and growing so much. At the end of the month we will begin working on Recital Routines. We simply cannot wait!
Seasonal Updates:
As the winter weather continues to roll through Woodstock, please be sure to fully utilize the shoe racks provided. Keeping the stairway clear is important to our dancers’ and families’ safety. Coats, hats, etc may be brought into class and put in the dancer’s “personal belongings” buckets.
Please continue to keep the studio informed with any absences your child may have as we continue to battle cold/flu season together.
Monthly Intention: Love & Kindness
Each month of our dancing year will highlight one of those ‘life lessons’ that dance gives us through our monthly intentions. This month we are working on incorporating a little bit of love and kindness into our actions at the studio. Throughout the month of February you will notice an extra emphasis placed on love and kindness – from recognizing acts of kindness in class to our super fun Love-Themed Dress-Up Week!
Teacup & Tulip’s Birthday Spectacular
Dancers in our Teacup and Tulip programs are invited to celebrate Teacup and Tulip’s Birthdays on Saturday February 24 from 3:30-5:00PM. This event is put on to support Oxford County Animal Rescue. Please RSVP to the desk to let us know your dancer will be coming as spots are limited.
Competitive Showcase
Our Competitive Team will be debuting their Competitive Routines on stage at the Movement Church on Saturday February 17 at 5:00pm.
The purpose of the show is to give our competitive team an opportunity to perform their routines in front of a friendly audience before hitting the competitive stage.
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday February 6 and can be purchased at the front desk.
Recital 2024
COSTUMES: Our Costume Look Book is now available to see all the wonderful costumes that will be a part of this year’s show! Students will be trying on costumes as they arrive throughout the next few months. Your weekly email update will let you know what classes will be trying on costumes.
RECITAL & REHEARSAL DATES: This year our 12th Annual Recitals and Rehearsals will take place throughout the week of June 3-8 at the Movement Church in Woodstock. We are planning to have FIVE indvidiual shows and will release more information next month!
