It’s hard to believe that the Holiday season is already here and in full swing! Thank you for your continuous support this season. We are so incredibly thankful for the support our Footprints Fam has shown us over the past few seasons.
As the winter season is upon us and of course, cold and flu season with it – please be sure to notify the studio of any absences your dancer may have through your parent portal.
Our Nutty Nutcracker Production was incredible! Thank you to all the dancers and families who made our show so awesome! They certainly have kicked off the holiday season in a joyous and jolly way!
Monthly Intention: Merry & Bright
Each month of our dancing year will highlight one of those ‘life lessons’ that dance gives us through our monthly intentions. This month we are working on incorporating a little bit of the holiday spirit into our dance studio. Our monthly intention is merry and bright! Throughout the month of December you will see some joyous and jolly decor, social media posts, and holiday magic throughout the studio.
Fill the Sleigh Campaign in support of DASO
With the holiday season coming, Footprints Dance Centre is excited to continue with our Fill the Sleigh Campaign in December. We will be hosting this campaign in support of Domestic Abuse Services Oxford.
Dancers are encouraged to donate canned food items and new toiletries to help us fill the sleigh. All of these items will be put directly back into the community that helps to support and shape us all. Please feel free to donate any non-perishable food items (school lunch items like snacks, drink boxes, cookies and crackers, tea/coffee/juice, jam, cereal, cake mixes, pudding/jello, tuna) as well as new toiletries (deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, face wash, etc) and any additional needs (baby wipes, size 6 diapers, sippy cups, new twin bed sheet sets, tissue boxes, dryer sheets, cutlery, drinking glasses, journals/notebooks).
Our Fill the Sleigh Campaign kicks off on December 1!
Student Progress Reports
Progress reports are a great tool to take a peek inside the dance classroom and see how your dancer is progressing this dance season. All reports are written by your dancer’s teacher and individualized for each dancer.
Progress reports will be distributed to students during the week of December 11-16.
Holiday Ornaments
Each year we hand out a special FDC ornament to all of our dancers. This year dancers will receive their 2023-24 ornament during the last week of classes.
