It’s hard to believe that the Holiday season is already here and in full swing! Thank you for your continuous support this season. It is not an understatement to say, its been a tough year. But we are so incredibly thankful for the support our Footprints Fam has shown us during this crazy time!
As the winter season is upon us and of course, cold and flu season with it – please be sure to notify the studio of any absences your dancer may have through your parent portal. Keep up the great mask wearing and hand sanitizing in the studio!
The holiday season brings many fun traditions into the studio. From our crazy Christmas trees, to our annual studio ornament, our little elf Dash and our holiday spirit squad performances – don’t count us out for holiday cheer this season! Our Holiday Spirit Squad has been hard at work this season. We are looking forward to their filming presentation this month! Watch out for our Virtual Nutcracker available on our YouTube channel later this month!
Monthly Intention: Jolly Blessings
Each month of our dancing year will highlight one of those ‘life lessons’ that dance gives us. This month we are working on incorporating JOLLY BLESSINGS into our dance studio. It’s the holiday season after all and we can all afford to have a little bit more joy and gratitude in our lives. Whether that be keeping the magic of Santa alive or instilling some more belief in yourself. We hope to foster some whimsy and fun in our dancers and Footprints Fam this month!
Fill the Sleigh Campaign
With the holiday season coming, Footprints Dance Centre is excited to continue with our Fill the Sleigh Campaign in December. We will be hosting this campaign in support of Domestic Abuse Services Oxford.
Dancers are encouraged to donate canned food items and new toiletries to help us fill the sleigh. All of these items will be put directly back into the community that helps to support and shape us all. Please feel free to donate any non-perishable food items (school lunch items like snacks, drink boxes, cookies and crackers, tea/coffee/juice, jam, cereal, cake mixes, pudding/jello, tuna) as well as new toiletries (deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, face wash, etc) and any additional needs (baby wipes, size 6 diapers, sippy cups, new twin bed sheet sets, tissue boxes, dryer sheets, cutlery, drinking glasses, journals/notebooks).
Our Fill the Sleigh Campaign kicks off on December 1!
