Miss Michelle

With over 20 years of dancing experience, Michelle started dancing at the age of 3 at her home studio in Waterloo, Ontario. Over the years she has extensively trained in many styles including; Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Acro and Tap. Growing up Michelle competed with her home studio at various competitions across southern Ontario and was thrilled to have the opportunity to perform with Drayton Entertainment as well as the KW symphony in some of their professional shows.

Michelle is constantly thriving to improve a develop her dance knowledge with certifications and workshops. She has successfully completed her Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 2 Ballet exam. Michelle is a Western University graduate with an honors specialization in Kinesiology as well as a minor in French Language and translation. More recently, Michelle obtained her Bachelor of Education with a primary – junior focus. During her time at Western University, Michelle was able to dabble in the dance program as part of her undergraduate degree.

Michelle is very excited to be returning to the staff at Footprints Dance Centre for her second year.
