Miss Juliana
Recreational & Competitive Instructor
Miss Juliana has been a mover since the age of 3 years old! She started out in competitive gymnastics until the age of 7. Soon after she found her love of dance through musical theatre and jazz, from there she started training extensively in both dance forms including lyrical and hip-hop. Miss Juliana also had the opportunity to train in Hamilton Ontario with the Hamilton Ballet Youth Ensemble. During this time she trained with the Cuban ballet company and had the opportunity to perform along stage with the company in Hamilton and Cuba in performances such as The Nutcracker, Hansel and Gretel and Gisel!
Juliana always continues to educate and grow herself in dance and in life. Juliana is a York University graduate with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance with honours and her dance science certificate, she specialized in choreography and performance while also minoring in kinesiology. After attaining her BFA, Juliana continued her education by getting her Masters of Arts in Dance Therapy and Rehabilitation also from York University. Miss Juliana also recently completed her Masters of Arts in Counselling and Psychology through Yorkville University. Throughout her post-secondary education, Juliana trained and performed in Toronto with the Raptors Dance Pak on the Raptors 905 team!
When Miss Juliana is not at the studio, you can find her combining her knowledge of fitness, nutrition and dance training to help others love their bodies through fitness, health and dance conditioning! She loves re-watching the Shrek movies and taking her four chihuahuas for walks too!
Miss Juliana believes that dance creates a safe place where people can be their most creative self. She is very excited to help students learn new techniques and grow confidence in dance!
