Our competitive team has worked so incredibly hard this dance season!
Each year, Footprints Dance Centre’s Competitive Showcase is the first opportunity for our Competitive team to perform their solos, duets, trips, and group numbers in front of an audience before they take them to the competitive stage. This is also the best opportunity for our Competitive team to put on a show for their own friends and family in little ol’ Woodstock.
Our team rolled in with larger-than life props, set pieces and costumes, huge group numbers, and outstanding choreography. This year, FDC rented out the Market Centre Theatre and we SOLD OUT! Our dancers performed wonderfully and were so proud to share the routines they had been working so hard on. The audience left raving about the show!
FDC’s competitive team continues to grow each year – especially this year with the new addition of our Lil’ Gems team! Adding Lil’ Gems as our youngest category of competitive dancers, has allowed for dancers as young as 5 years old to get a peek into the exciting world of competitive dance. Our littlest dancers trained with dedication and a splash of silliness, and they improved immensely over the year! We love watching them evolve as dancers and as wonderful human beings.
We are so proud of all of our dancers and can not wait to see our Competitive team smash it in their upcoming string of competitions! Please join us in wishing them the best of luck!
