Although you can usually find Miss Taylor smiling behind the front desk, don’t be fooled! She too is a trained dance professional with over 20 years of dance experience who loves to cheer on dancers of all ages.

Miss Taylor found her love for dance and theatre when she was a child and since then, could never picture her life without it. Throughout high school, Miss Taylor accelerated her dance training and began her dance teaching journey. She was also the resident Junior/Sophomore choreographer for CAST Theatre Co. for 7 years before graduating and moving to Toronto to further her dance education. Miss Taylor now holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts specializing in Dance Performance and Choreography from York University (2015), where she had many wonderful opportunities to train, explore new dance styles, and create new choreographic works.

After graduation, Miss Taylor began working for Arthur Murray Toronto (North York), where she taught Ballroom and Latin dancing for 5 years. Learning from the best in the business, Miss Taylor trained not only in dance, but in dance studio business management as well. After only 1.5 years on the job, Miss Taylor quickly became the studio manager of Arthur Murray North York and won multiple individual and team Arthur Murray International awards during her time in management (including a Top Studio award for becoming a $1 000 000 studio in 2019). While living in Toronto, she also trained in heels dancing with Army of Sass TO. Miss Taylor loves teaching dancers of all ages, but especially loves inspiring adults to find confidence , self-discovery, and empowerment through dance.

These days, Miss Taylor is happy to be back in her home town of lil ol’ Woodstock, and spends her days chasing around her son Logan. She is a proud wife and toddler Momma (*and dance Mom*) and is grateful to Footprints for allowing her to be able to balance parenthood with her love of dance & teaching. Miss Taylor is super pumped to continue to share her love of dance with the families at Footprints Dance Centre!
